This lovely couple from Austria contacted us in 2011 to help organise their wedding which took place on 15 July 2012. They had a clear idea of what they were looking for and we were delighted to bring their ideas to life. The ceremony took place at 8pm but they wanted to treat all the guests to drinks before the ceremony. This was done in the picturesque grounds of the Los Monteros where everyone enjoyed a selection of canapés and the fantastic talents of the Spanish guitar trio, Latin Twins who gave the proceedings a real Andalusian flavour.
The guests were then transported to the beach club La Cabane for the ceremony overlooking the Mediterranean which was conducted in German and had a light hearted feel which all the guests enjoyed. The fantastic flowers were provided by Andi Openshaw who did an outstanding job, particularly with the arch. The happy couple were then toasted with cava before moving on to the pool area to enjoy a sumptuous dinner. Arran Harding provided the entertainment throughout the day with a mix of songs chosen by the couple.
After the dinner and speeches, the couple cut their cake which was a beautiful mixture of cup cakes with a top tier made by the talented Bettina Samain. The party was then moved indoors to La Luna where Gorgeous Event Decoration had transformed the room for the intimate gathering. Arran then alternated between DJing and singing to get the guests to their feet after the first dance. This began with the Vienese Waltz which halfway through stopped and the bride and groom then launched into the last dance from Dirty Dancing to much whooping and excitement of the their guests.
The party continued to the small hours with their guests from all over the world enjoying this beautiful celebration. David Toms was the photographer who did his usual amazing job of capturing the essence of the day. He finished the wedding with a Trash the Dress shoot the following night.
